I confess quite frankly that what I produced was some kind of gibberish. The worst thing was that I hated the unwelcome mother . . . so badly that I began gritting my teeth the moment she appeared on paper. So of course, nothing could possibly come of it.
One has to love one's characters: if you don't have that, I advise anyone not to take up the pen -- you will only sufer great distress, and it will serve you right.
